Fr Edwin Cyril Mascarenhas Former Principal of Permannur College Passed away

Mangaluru: Fr Edwin Cyril Mascarenhas son of Maurice Mascarenhas and Faustine Mascarenhas, after a short illness breathed his last at 3.30 am on 20th September 2020. He was 57. Fr Edwin was an ordained priest, for the Diocese of Mangalore on 7th May 1991.
He served as Assistant Parish Priest at Shirva, Omzoor, and Bendure parishes and parish priest of Petri, Anegudde and Mariashram(Talapady) parishes. He also served as the Headmaster of St Joseph’s School,Bidar then as Principal of St Joseph PU College, Bidar, St Antony College, Naravi and St Sabastian PU and Degree college, Permannur, Thokkottu.
His funeral rites were held at St Don Bosco church Kelmbet, Bola, his home parish.
