Dornahalli, Mysore – The fourth day of the Novena devotion, held in spiritual preparation for the Annual Feast of St Anthony, was observed with deep faith and reverence on June 7, 2023, at St Anthony’s Basilica in Dornahalli, Mysore.

The solemn Eucharistic Celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Martin M, Parish Priest of St Sebastian’s Church, Kushalnagar. He was joined by Rev. Fr. David Sagayaraj, Rector of the Basilica, and Rev. Fr. Praveen Pedru, Administrator of the Basilica. Their presence added spiritual grace and depth to the occasion.

The theme for the day, “Hope is the Beginning of New Life,” highlighted the power of faith and resilience in times of difficulty and uncertainty. Through inspiring reflections and heartfelt prayers, the faithful were reminded that hope can ignite new beginnings and sustain the human spirit.

Following the Holy Mass, the Novena prayers were offered with great devotion, as the gathered faithful sought the powerful intercession of St Anthony for their personal intentions and the needs of their loved ones.

The day’s observance concluded with a reverent procession of the Holy Statue of St Anthony through the Basilica premises, followed by the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. The prayerful celebration left the faithful spiritually renewed, united in hope, and strengthened in their journey of faith.
