Faculty Members of St Philomena College (Autonomous) Unwind with a Day Trip
Puttur, May 2025: In a welcome break from their demanding academic schedules, the teaching and non-teaching staff of St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, embarked on a rejuvenating one-day excursion to Relax Leisure Park, Brahmavar, on Wednesday. The trip was organized under the guidance of Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, Principal of the college.
A total of 45 staff members participated in the day-long outing, which was designed to foster camaraderie and offer a refreshing pause from the routines of campus life. Nestled in the lap of nature, the serene surroundings of Relax Leisure Park provided the perfect setting for relaxation, recreation, and bonding.
The picnic was coordinated by Dr Dimple Jennifer Fernandes, Head of the Department of Hindi. Dhanya P.T., Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, and Mrs Rufina D’Souza, Office Superintendent, extended their support in organizing the event.
