Confraternity Sunday was celebrated at St. Sebastian Church,Permannur

Mangaluru: St. Sebastian Church, Permannur Thokkottu, celebrated Confraternity Sunday on January 15, 2023. The ceremony started with an hour of adoration conducted by Rev. Fr. Steevan Coutinho, the assistant parish priest at Adamkudru Chapel. Thereafter, the Eucharistic procession was taken by the faithful with all devotion and reverence to Lord Jesus, who is present in the Eucharist, as Rev. Fr. Cyprian Pinto, the parish priest, solemnly held the Blessed Sacrament and blessed the faithful on the open ground and then celebrated the Holy Eucharist as well as preached a befitting homily.

The donors were honoured with blessed candles as Mr. Arun Dsouza, the vice president of the parish council, read out their names from the list and Mrs. Jyothi Dsouza, the secretary of the parish council, read the list of the members of the parish council. At the end, refreshment was served to the gathered community.
