Christmas celebrated vibrantly at Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady

December 27, 2024

Belthangady: The joy of Christmas was meaningfully celebrated at Holy Redeemer English Medium School on December 24th.

The festive vibe was vibrantly created by the students of classes 1, 6, and 7 to spread the joy of the season.

Rev. Fr Jason of the Capuchin order of Dayalbagh, Ujire, was the chief guest. Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto and PTA Vice President Mr Ramesh were present.

The program began with a wonderful prayer dance. Class 1 students Niha, Sherwin, and Swaliha welcomed the gathering with a cute gesture.

Christmas reminds us of many charms and symbols. The significance of common Christmas symbols like tree, star, candle, eateries, angel, crib, gift, and cake was wonderfully expressed by the little ones of class 1.

Beautiful dances by the students added more charm to the celebration, filling the air with joy.

The birth of Jesus Christ was well displayed through a tableau.

The chief guest gave a message on what Christmas is. The headmaster appreciated the students and teachers for their efforts in making the event a fruitful one.

The grand surprise entry of Santa Claus mesmerized the students, who interacted with the kids and brought a smile to their faces.

The dignitaries, along with Santa, cut the cake to share the sweetness of the celebration. Carols sung by the teachers added more cheer to the beautiful ambience of Christmas.

Suja Fathima of class 6 proposed the vote of thanks. Sai Khushi and Jason of class 7 compered the program.

Teachers Renita Lasrado, Vinitha Moras, Jonita Korrea, and Lavina Lobo were the program coordinators.

The celebration meaningfully ended by singing the school anthem and distributing cake and sweets to the students.
