Birthday celebration of Correspondent held at Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady

Belthangady: Holy Redeemer English Medium School, Belthangady, celebrated the 70th birthday of its Correspondent, Very Rev. Fr Walter D’Mello.

Headmaster Rev. Fr Clifford Pinto, along with the staff and students, made the day special and joyful to the correspondent. 

The celebration began with a prayer song by the students, followed by a special prayer offered by Teacher Renita Lasrado.

The birthday celebration was highlighted by cutting the cake while students sang the melody of the birthday song.

The headmaster wished the correspondent with words of gratitude and good wishes and presented a bouquet.

Assistant Headmistress Blendin Rodrigues on behalf of all staff and Assistant School Pupil Leader Alston DSilva on behalf of all students presented a bouquet to the correspondent. All staff members wholeheartedly presented a birthday gift. 

Students of classes 6 and 7 increased the vibe of the birthday celebration through their wonderful wishing dances. 

The correspondent in his message thanked everyone who was involved in making his day a special one and wished the students to do well in the upcoming exams.

Sherlin of class 7 compered the program. Celebration ended with refreshment.
