Ayushman Bharath Drive organized at Thannirbavi Church

Mangaluru: CODP® Mangaluru, SPARSHA program, Our Lady of Fathima Church Thannirbavi and Karnataka One jointly organized Ayushman Bharath Drive at Thannirbavi Church hall on 27.11.2020. 

The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Rev. Fr Elias D Souza, Parish priest of Thannirbavi Church.  Rev. Fr Oswald Monteiro, Director of CODP was the Chief Guest. Other Guests of honor were Ms Shilpa D Souza, Coordinator of SPARSHA; Ms Priyanaka, from Karnataka One and Mr. Avil Coelho, Vice President of Thannirbavi Church.

Rev. Fr Oswald Monteiro, in his inaugural speech, informed that the reason to organize this program was to create awareness to all participants regarding Ayushman Bharath Health Scheme.    He also explained about the importance of the schemes in the course of hospitalization treatment.

Rev. Fr Elias D Souza explained the importance of availing government health schemes.  He also appreciated CODP and Karnataka One for organizing this Camp at Thannirbavi by which the people would be benefited.

Ms Saira, member of ICYM Thannirbavi compered the program. Ms Pushpaveni, Animator of CODP, assisted during the program and Mr Avil proposed the Vote of Thanks.

A team of enthusiastic volunteers from Our Lady of Fathima Church, Thannirbavi worked hard to make the camp a success.

A total of 287 Ayushman Cards have been distributed to the participants.
