Aquatic Adventures Day “UDHKA KELA DHABHAZHO 2024“ at Infant Mary Church Bajjodi
Bajjodi, Mangaluru: Infant Mary Church, Indian Catholic Youth Movement Bajjodi organized an aquatic adventures day, UDHKA KELA DHABHAZHO 2024. on Sunday, November 10th afternoon.
The event started at 2.30pm with a showcase of team spirit and enthusiasm for March past. A prayersong was led by ICYM members. Welcome A welcome was given by unit president Cliyon Dsilva.
The inauguration of the event was done by Parish priest Fr. Dominic Vas, Asst. ICYM director Fr Pranam Fernandes, Fr. Cyril Menezes, PPC vice president Prakash Saldana, secretary Elizabeth Pereira, and ICYM animators Sachin Menezes and Seema Carlo.
Parish priest wished all the participants to have sportsman spirit and have a fun-filled day. Followed by water games.
7 Wards, 77 kids, and almost 130 adults participated in this event; 11 water games were conducted. The ward members performed extremely well and tried to make their ward win. The event went on smoothly with the cooperation of all the participants. Fr. Dominic Vas firstly congratulated the ICYM team for organizing this event in a great way and for all the dedication.
The valedictory program started with Vote of thanks by Anush Fernandes. The prize distribution ceremony was conducted by ICYM animator Mr Sachin Menezes. With this, the event came to an end with the Baila and Rain dance.
