ABKCSP along with St. Aloysius (Deemed to be university) Celebrate Christmas on Dec 14
Mangaluru: The Akhil Bharatiya Konkani Charoli Sahitya Parishad (ABKCSP) has announced that on the occasion of Christmas, “Sweets Day” will be celebrated on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University) campus. This event will be held to mark the Christmas festival.
The President of ABKCSP, Raymond D’Cunha Taccode, informed that the celebration will take place on the college campus, where cake will be cut, and a Christmas message will be shared by Rev. Dr. Praveen Martis SJ, the Vice-Chancellor of St. Aloysius (Deemed to be University). Fr. Martis will be joined by several like-minded organizations to spread the festive spirit.
Students of St. Aloysius University will perform various activities showcasing the birth of Jesus, Santa Claus, and carols. The students will also distribute Christmas sweets (kuswar) to everyone present, fostering friendship, unity, and tolerance.
In addition, students will present Christmas-themed Charoli in 20 different languages. A multilingual poetry session will also be held during the event.
