Mangaluru: Training on Rain Water Harvesting & Government Schemes

Mangaluru: The Self Help Groups coming under Kamadhenu and Kalpavarksha Mahasangha promoted by CODP®, Mangaluru organized Ramzan celebration in CODP Ambedkar Hall on 07th July 2019. The highlight of the celebrations was training on Rain Water Harvesting and various Government Schemes. Fr Oswald Monteiro, Director of CODP presided over the day’s programme. 

Fr. Oswald Monteiro, in his speech said “CODP is working for the upliftment of the financially poor people of the society since the last 44 years through various schemes. Rain water harvesting is a part of this effort in order to protect the environment. In addition to, today we are celebrating Ramzan festival through the Self Help Groups. Let us love one another and build a society of co-existence and make our country march towards progress and development. 











Mr Antony Nazareth, Animator of CODP explained in detail the importance of rain water harvesting and Mr Arun DSouza, Animator of Digital Seva Kendra, Kulshekar gave the information about how to apply for various Construction Workers’ Government Schemes online. 

Mr. Ravi Kumar Crasta, Coordinator of CODP, Mrs. Kala Girish, Animator of CODP and Mrs Noor Jahan, Member of Self Help group were present on the stage. 

Mrs Poornima compeered the programme and Mrs Sandhya proposed the vote of thanks. There were about 75 participants in the programme.
