Mangaluru: “Solo Dios Basta” echoed all over Carmel Hill on the second day of the Feast

Mangaluru, Jan, 15: Today is the second day of the feast of Infant Jesus. The day was dedicated to children and the theme was “Solo Dio Basta” the Spanish version for ‘God alone suffices’: the life theme of St. Teresa of Avila. Because God alone is the unconditional source of love and those who love him lack nothing. This theme was well explained during the homilies taking the experience of the saint’s, specially St. Teresa of Avila. It was an awesome sight to see the ocean of devotees flocking to receive the blessing of the Infant Jesus from early morning till in the evening for holy masses.
