Mangalore: Youth Empowerment Training held at CODP

Mangalore, July 05: A new year commenced for YET programme with the new batch of 8th and the previous batches of 9th and 10th on July 1, 2018. Various classes were held for all the three classes. A total of 116 students participated in the training programme of which 75 were girls and 41 were boys. 

The day began with registration which was done by Mr Cyril with the help of Ms.Tejaswini. The Director of CODP, Fr. Oswald Monteiro welcomed all and motivated the students to prepare themselves seriously for civil services by taking genuine interest in the YET programme with perseverance. The CAP-YET Coordinator, Mr. Cyril Vas led the group into prayer. He also addressed the students and thanked them for participating in the YET programme. 

The sessions of the day were shared among five resource persons, viz. GMAT and Maths by Ms Jonita Rasquinha, GMAT by Fr Edwin Pinto, English Communicative by Ms Pramila Monteiro, Social and Political Science by Asst Professor at SAC, Mr. Alwyn DSouza, Soft Skills: Advance Techniques of Learning by Mr Manu Jacob Mathew and Mr Winston Lobo. All present were provided with breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks.
