Mangalore: Ballet Show 'Maa Tuje Pranaam' enthrals audience

Mangalore, Mar 18: ‘Maa Tuje Pranaam’ a programme of musical ballet on the life of Mother Teresa, organised by Daivik Amrith Trust at Holy Cross Church grounds, Cordel, Kulshekar, on Sunday, March 17, enthralled audience with its unique way of story presentation and dance combination.

The programme was inaugurated by Msgr Maxim Noronha, vicar general of Mangalore diocese. Fr Victor Machado, parish priest, Cordel Church was the chief guest. Fr Charles Vas SVD, Fr Andrew D'Souza, founder of Daivik Amrith Trust, and Santhosh Alwyn Lobo, managing trustee were present.

‘Maa Tuje Pranaam’ is scripted in Hindi on the life of Mother Theresa. Fr Charles Vas (Sangeeth Abhinay Academy, Mumbai) and team presented the musical ballet with visual coordination of music and dance.

‘Bhangara Khanas’, a book written by J V D’Mello was released on the occasion. The programme was organized with an intention to collect funds for poor students’ education. Around 3,000 people witnessed this show.
