8 Cartoons that made my Childhood Awesome

I cannot think or talk of my childhood days without mentioning at least a few cartoons which I watched growing up. They were an inseparable part of my life. They were what kept me entertained always and when I look back now, most of them did have some small life lessons as well, especially on friendship. And they always brought a smile on my face.
Here is alist of my favourite 8 cartoon shows:

1. POKEMON

“I want to be the very best, like no one ever was”. That’s how it began and ever since then, Pokemon has been my all time favourite. All my childhood dreams revolved around the Pokemon world with the exciting journeys, meeting new trainers, visiting new towns and cities, collecting badges and particiting in tournaments, the friendship with Pokemon. Ah! What a life it was. I still remember those days sitiing in front of the TV in the morning at 8 or evening at 5 to watch this world of Pokemon, How I miss those dreams!

2. Tom and Jerry

Tom and Jerry is probably one of the most loved cartoon of all time, across the globe. And surely I enjoyed watching it as much as anybody else. The drama that unfolded between a cat and a mouse was quite amazing. It is one cartoon which does not fail to make me laugh even now. Also the relationship between Tom and Jerry, how they constantly kept fighting but they could not live without each other is what I admire.

3. Swat Kats

Third on my list is a cat duo namely T-bone and Razor who were the protectors of the Kat world. Swat Kats with their super-jet Turbokat did not fail to amaze me. These two mechanics had a wonderful collection of weaponry with which they tackled all those who attacked the city. I was always awed by the missiles and armours that they possessed, not to forget the super cool bike which Razor used. That is what brings Swat Kats into this list.

4. Beyblade

Beyblade, that cartoon show which became a phenomenon among kids. Those days when every kid had a beyblade in his hand and those screams of “Let it rip” and off went the beyblades. I was quite enthralled by Beyblades, because it was just a spinning top and a whole cartoon was made from it. It sure was a super hit with Dragoon and Dranzer on the tip of every kid those days.
.
5. Scooby Doo

The adventures of Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Velma and Daphne driving in their mystery machine comes next on this list. Scooby doo had the thriller experience a mystery cartoon needed to have and it also had a lot of fun. The way Scooby and Shaggy used to get into trouble and eventually how they would uncover crimes with their friends was wholesome entertainment. And of course, the title track was my favourite.

6. Looney Tunes

Next up is one of the biggest cartoon franchise in the world. The looney tunes show was laughter all the way. Bugs Bunny and the Road Runner show being my favourite. I loved Bugs Bunny’s “What’s up Doc?” Wasn’t he adorable? Also the other characters Tweety and Sylvester, speedy Gonzales, Tasmanian Devil, Daffy duck etc, did not fail to make me laugh. And of course, Wile.E.Coyete, who taught me to try and keep trying

7. Richie Rich

Richie Rich was my tea time cartoon show. He was a very rich boy who had everything he wanted. His adventures with his pet dog and his robot maid were interesting sights for me back in those days. He too possessed very interesting gadgets using which he used to escape from trouble. Of course, Dollar, his pet dog would keep landing into some sort of trouble. I sure did enjoy watching this simple yet interesting series.

8. Make way for Noddy

Toyland, that little town buzzing with activity. And that’s where lived Noddy, the boy with a little red car. He had friends all around the city and he used to have small adventures everyday. I especially loved Mr. Wobblyman. I must say, Noddy made the imagination of a small world easier. And the city police inspector was another cute character.

Those were my most favourite ones. Of course there were many others which I loved too. I have to say they made my childhood awesome and I would pay to watch them again even now.
And if you haven’t watched any of them yet, do watch it. I’m sure you will not regret.
