Mangalore, Sep 12: “Students should have dedication and service along with research as their main goal in life. They should not be after money or fame but should work hard and give their service to the society” said Mr Ashok H, Reproductive and Child Health Officer, Dakshina Kannada the Chief Guest during the Inauguration of BHMS course of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College for the academic year 2017-18 on Tuesday, 12 September.
The programme began with the Prayer song. Dr Shivaprasad K, Principal welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp along with other dignitaries.
Rev Fr Richard Coelho, Director, FMCI in his presidential address made students aware of the greatness of Father Muller Institution and contribution to society through the ministry of healing and education and called students to aim for research.
Rev. Fr Vincent Saldanha, Administrator in his message congratulated the students for choosing this institution by choice and not by chance.
Mr Satish responded on behalf of all the parents of new batch.
Dr Prabhu Kiran, Vice Principal delivered the Vote of thanks.
Rev Fr Sylvester Lobo, Asst. Administrator, Rev Fr Peter Noronha, Former Director, Dr Girish Navada, Deputy Medical Superintendent and faculty members were present.
The programme concluded with the institution anthem and self introduction by the new students.
